A veteran Uyghur obstetrician in China has gone public with a gruesome account of the lengths to which the Communist Chinese Party will go in order to enforce it\u2019s population control limits on the ethnic and religious minority community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to Radio Free Asia<\/a>, Dr. Hasiyet Abdulla reported that hospitals in China\u2019s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region were ordered by the government to abort and kill all babies born outside the bounds of its mandated family planning limits\u2014even newborns and babies carried to term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Abdulla, an obstetrician of fifteen years, maternity wards in the region were ordered to implement the unspeakably harsh family-planning policies intended to restrict Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities to only three children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery hospital had a family-planning unit that was responsible for implementation \u2014 who had how many kids, when they\u2019d given birth to them \u2014 they tracked all of this,\u201d she said. \u201cThe regulations were so strict: there had to be three or four years between children. There were babies born at nine months who we killed after inducing labor. They did that in the maternity wards, because those were the orders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abdulla stated that babies were aborted even if their mothers were \u201ceight and nine months pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In some cases, medical staff would \u201ceven kill the babies after they\u2019d been born,\u201d she recounted, adding that doctors would \u201ckill them and dispose of the body\u2026 They wouldn\u2019t give the baby to the parents\u2014they kill the babies when they\u2019re born.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an order that\u2019s been given from above, it\u2019s an order that\u2019s been printed and distributed in official documents,\u201d Abdulla explained. \u201cHospitals get fined if they don\u2019t comply, so of course they carry this out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we reported last month, reports of the Chinese government imposing forced sterilization, abortion, mandatory pregnancy tests, or implantation of IUDs on Uyghur women have surfaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christian Post<\/a> shares the harrowing story of one victim of the communist regime\u2019s violent policies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Uighur woman named Bumeryem from Toquzaq township in Kashgar\u2019s Kona Sheher (Shufu) county who fled the region for Turkey in 2016 told RFA that in 2004, she was forced to have an abortion while pregnant with her fourth child around halfway through her second trimester.<\/p>

\u201c[The family-planning cadres] told me I had to get an abortion because the pregnancy was my fourth, and they gave me an injection through my belly button \u2014 I paid 200 yuan (U.S. $29) [for the procedure] myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>

\u201c[The cadres] took me [to the hospital] and did the abortion at five months,\u201d she said.<\/p>

\u201cIt was a boy. We could find out [the sex] at five months. \u2026 If my baby who was aborted were alive today, he\u2019d be 15 years old.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere were women there in even worse situations than mine,\u201d she said of the other mothers in the hospital room where she recovered whose children had been murdered at 7 or 8 months gestation. \u201cI lay in my bed and cried.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent reports have shone light on the grim reality of life as an Uyghur minority in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports of massacres, mass internment camps, torture, organ harvesting, and disappearances\u2014on top of the vicious \u201cfamily planning\u201d policy and removal of Uyghur children from their families to Chinese state orphanages or boarding homes have sparked global concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in July, the State Department issued a statement<\/a> on the sanctions against CCP members imposed by the Treasury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the statement, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared that he was also designating the Chinese Communist Party\u2019s Chen Quanguo, Zhu Hailun, and Wang Mingshan, and others \u201cfor their involvement in gross violations of human rights\u201d against the Uyghurs. The designations by the State Department mean that \u201cthey and their immediate family members are ineligible for entry into the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe United States will not stand idly by as the [Chinese Communist Party] carries out human rights abuses targeting Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs, and members of other minority groups in Xinjiang, to include forced labor, arbitrary mass detention, and forced population control, and attempts to erase their culture and Muslim faith,\u201d said Pompeo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
